See the mud on my new shoe? That’s the most exciting thing about my run today.
I feel like I’m losing my mojo a bit. I’ve got a lot on my mind right now so thought a run would sort me out this morning. The first mile and a bit were pretty good, I took one of those paths I noticed last week (hence the muddy shoe) but it turned and led off into the fields. Tempting as it was to just run off, I had too much to get back to, so took the other turning back into Kingswells and made my way home. I just couldn’t get my head in the game, so I ended up walking a bit. I’d taken my iPod for a change, but the earphones kept falling out and the music was rubbish, so all in all, not a very successful morning’s exercise.
No, you know what, I’m going to give myself a break. I went out for a run in the rain and did half an hour’s exercise when I could have been in a warm house drinking tea. It was a successful morning. It could just be better. And it will be, tomorrow.
How’s your Janathon going?
